1. Agreement & Scope

By using the TapLoyal application (the “App”), you agree to these Terms. If you represent a business or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind it. TapLoyal enables businesses to offer digital loyalty programs using QR codes and NFC.

You are solely responsible for all content you publish through TapLoyal, including text, images, links, offers, and reward descriptions. We do not verify or endorse business content.

We reserve the right to review, restrict, or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law and to cooperate with authorities where legally required.

5. Customer Use, Anonymity & Statistics

TapLoyal is designed for customer use without registration. Customers are not required to provide names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact details. For loyalty functionality and abuse prevention (e.g., cooldowns), the App and backend may recognize repeat visits from the same device using a pseudonymous identifier, without identifying the person. Businesses may only see aggregated visit or loyalty statistics. You agree not to attempt to identify individual customers or track personal behavior.

6. Pricing & Subscriptions

TapLoyal is available as a free application. Basic features, including QR and NFC loyalty check-ins, are available at no cost.

Certain advanced features for business/admin users may require an optional paid subscription (“Premium”). Subscriptions are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing.

Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and cancellation options are displayed in Google Play before purchase and are governed by Google Play policies and the user’s Google Play account settings.

7. No Advertising

TapLoyal does not display third-party in-app advertising.

8. Intellectual Property

TapLoyal, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by the operator or licensors. You grant us a limited license to host and display your content solely for providing the service.

Businesses are responsible for the legality and safety of external links or offers provided through the App.

You must comply with all applicable laws, including consumer protection, marketing, privacy, and platform rules.

12. App Stores

If the App is downloaded from Google Play or another app store, their terms also apply. App store providers are not responsible for the App’s operation or legal compliance.

Purchases and subscriptions are subject to the Google Play Store terms and policies.

13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or create legal risk.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Bratislava, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
